I spent several years in the military and fell in love with the use of acronyms. My favorite during my military years was The 5 P’s (prior proper planning prevents poor performance). If you are involved with social media, I am now going to give you an operator precedence – NESTOL. No, it does not spell a word, but you can remember it very clearly by stating the following: Never Express Stale Tiresome Opinions Liberally. Regardless of the type of business you are in, you need to invest within that business to see that it grows and flourishes. Traditionally, this would be in the form of paying to advertise on TV, radio and newspapers. But with more people moving towards the Internet, these mediums are not as effective as they once were.
